Job summary

Eco Approach Ltd. is seeking a qualified Smart Energy Engineer to install and service gas and electricity meters in customers’ homes across the UK.

You will contribute to the company’s mission of driving progress toward net-zero by delivering high-quality, compliant metering services and customer-focused support. With at least two years of relevant experience, you will work closely with Field Managers, carrying out installations, repairs, and demonstrations, while adhering to safety regulations

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of qualified experience as a Smart Metering engineer.
• Experience replacing gas and electricity meters in homes.
• Good knowledge of gas and electrical systems.
• Full UK driving license.
• MET1, CMA1/CCN1, MOCOPA (1a/1c) certifications.
• Company offers progression into NetZero and upskilling.

Responsibilities

• Safely replace gas and electricity meters in customers’ homes.
• Provide after-care demonstrations for new meters.
• Repair and maintain meters after installation.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We're offering an exciting opportunity for a qualified Smart Energy Engineer to join our team. In this role, you’ll be delivering services directly to customers’ homes, helping us achieve our mission of driving progress towards net-zero. Whether it's a new installation or a complex repair, you'll represent our client one of the Big 6 energy companies while providing high-quality service to our customers.

To succeed in this role, you will need at least 2 years of qualified experience, as some of the tasks can be challenging. You’ll be working closely with our Field Managers and will have plenty of support in the field.

KEY RESPONSBILITIES

• Safely replace gas and electricity meters in customers’ homes, following all health & safety procedures and industry regulations.
• Provide first-class after-care service, including full demonstrations to customers on using their new meters.
• Repair and maintain meters after initial installation.

SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• At least 2 years of experience as a Dual Fuel Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of gas and electrical systems.
• A professional, customer-focused approach.
• Level 2 diploma in Smart Metering
• MET1
• CMA1/CCN1
• MOCOPA (1a and 1c)
• Full UK driving license
