Aalyria in the United Kingdom is seeking a Delay-Tolerant Networking Software Engineer to join our UK R&D team. You will develop the DTN suite, including the Hardy bundle router, and integrate with the Spacetime platform to solve real-world communication challenges for customers and partners.

The role emphasizes distributed systems, cloud technologies, and scalable APIs. You will collaborate across functions, contribute to documentation, and support onboarding while advancing production

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain DTN products using Rust, gRPC, and Protocol Buffers.
• Build a scalable and distributed system on Kubernetes.
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.
• Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic.
• Gather and address technical and design requirements.
• Create and deliver technical content, including documentation, tutorials and sample code.
• Assist the onboarding process for new customers and ensure successful integration of their systems.
• Optimize the performance of applications for full-scale production deployments.
