Job summary

The Estée Lauder Companies in Winchester, UK, seeks a finance professional to support the Direct-to-Consumer operations and month-end close, ensuring SOX controls and US GAAP compliance for Retail and Online channels. Qualifications

• Undergrad degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting/finance roles.
• 5% travel requirement.
• CPA preferred.
• Experience with Direct To Consumer industries (retail and online).
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP including ASC 606, inventory, prepaids and accrued expenses.
• Solid SOX financial controls understanding.
• Experience with SAP, Hyperion, OOM and POS systems.
• Excellent communication skills and team player.
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Participate in month-end and quarter-end close processes for Retail and Online channels.
• Ensure work complies with SOX controls and company policy.
• Develop and maintain documentation for DTC processes.
• Support new process implementations for Online/Omnichannel
• Collaborate with IT to support reporting and new capabilities.
• Assist audits and investigate reporting discrepancies.
• Interact with internal teams and external partners (auditors, BPO).
• Lead ad-hoc accounting requests and special projects.
