Job summary

Randstad Education in Warrington is seeking a Design & Technology Teacher for secondary schools. You will teach hands-on design, product design and materials, guiding GCSE preparation and utilising CAD/CAM alongside traditional workshop tools.

Qualified teachers with QTS or QTLS are welcome, with DBS updates or willingness to obtain one. The role offers a flexible schedule, competitive pay and supportive consultancy from Randstad Education.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on Design & Technology lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 (GCSE Product Design/Materials).
• Train students in CAD/CAM software and traditional workshop tools and machinery.
• Maintain workshop health and safety standards and oversee equipment maintenance.
• Assess design portfolios, prototypes and coursework per GCSE specs.
• Maintain a safe and orderly classroom and workshop environment.

Job: Design and Technology Teacher- Warrington Salary: £169 - £262 per day (negotiable, based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee strict Health & Safety standards in the workshop and manage equipment maintenance.
• Assess design portfolios, practical prototypes, and coursework following GCSE specifications.
• Maintain classroom order and workshop safety to create a secure, productive environment.
