Job summary

Ross-Shire Engineering Limited is seeking a Project Engineer (DSEAR) to support delivery of DSEAR projects, focusing on chlorine gas and methanol dosing, while managing performance in hazardous environments. You will guide engineering teams, coordinate site surveys and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

The role requires a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and a track record in project management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in hazardous environments, preferably Chlorine/Gas or Dosing.
• Proven track record in project management.
• Good time management and ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering tools and materials.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Act as project liaison from enquiry to final acceptance and document client requirements.
• Lead and direct trade operatives and apprentices with emphasis on quality, safety and productivity.
• Ensure technical information is available for design/construction delivery.
• Interpret drawings, specifications and schedules and prepare final documentation.
• Identify and resolve non-conformances in design and construction phases.
• Manage design of systems aligning with specifications and technical aspects.
• Prepare construction phase health and safety plans under CDM.
