Job summary

TLT LLP is recruiting a Paralegal for our Document Review and Collation team in Bristol or Manchester. The role focuses on DSARs within data protection, using Relativity and other e-discovery tools in a fast-paced environment.

You will support senior staff in scoping, reviewing, redacting, and delivering DSAR responses, while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. A hybrid working pattern with flexible training and career development is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in DSARs or data protection roles, with exposure to DSAR processes.
• Working understanding of data protection legislation, exemptions, and redaction.
• Familiarity with document review platforms such as Relativity or similar eDiscovery tools.
• Ability to identify privilege and handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong written and verbal communication, good organisation and multi-tasking.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking first-level reviews of DSARs with accuracy and speed, applying redactions and exemptions.
• Supporting lead reviewers with scoping requests and preparing final responses.
• Analyzing new DSAR instructions and taking detailed instructions from fee earners.
• Using Relativity to conduct document reviews and e-disclosure exercises.
• Communicating with client teams and external clients, ensuring documented instructions.
• Reporting on progression of matters and managing workloads to meet deadlines.
• Working collaboratively while managing your own workload.
