Job summary

Shakespeare Martineau is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our Managed Legal Services team in Birmingham. This role supports our expanding Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) service, offering clear progression opportunities as the team grows.

You will manage DSARs efficiently, work with internal teams and clients, and use legal expertise to ensure compliance. The ideal candidate will possess at least 6 months of relevant experience and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience with large-scale document review / eDisclosure.
• Good working knowledge of the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs).
• Manage documents across various data sources.
• Handle DSAR responses, including data tagging and redaction.
