Quantity Surveyor – Drylining & Ceilings

Our client, a reputable subcontractor specialising in drylining and suspended ceilings, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This is a great opportunity for someone with sector-specific knowledge to take ownership of projects and contribute to a growing business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the commercial and contractual requirements across multiple drylining and ceiling packages
  • Prepare and submit interim valuations and final accounts
  • Assess subcontractor accounts, variations, and payments
  • Monitor costs against budget and report on commercial performance
  • Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, project managers, and site teams
  • Support the tendering and pre-construction process when required
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor role, ideally within drylining or ceilings
  • Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts
  • Excellent numeracy, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant QS software
  • Relevant degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
