You will build relationships with haulage and logistics employers, source Class 1 and Class 2 drivers, and drive the desk to exceed targets with uncapped commission. This is a well-established UK recruiter offering training and progression.

Qualifications

• Proven recruitment experience in driving, logistics, transport or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of the driving/logistics recruitment market.
• Experience in temporary, contract or permanent recruitment.
• Confidence speaking with drivers and decision-makers at all levels.
• Strong business development and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with haulage, logistics and transport companies.
• Identify new business opportunities and grow your client portfolio.
• Source, interview and qualify drivers across your market.
• Manage the recruitment process from vacancy to placement.
• Build a network of licensed drivers.
• Respond quickly to urgent and high-volume driving requirements.
• Understand client operations, licence categories and market conditions.
• Negotiate rates and terms with clients and candidates.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with placed candidates and clients.
• Meet and exceed weekly/monthly activity and billing targets.
• Develop knowledge and become a recognised driving market specialist.
