Job Type:Full Time - 40 hours

Hoebridge is a busy Golf Centre based near Woking, Surrey. Hoebridge hosts several facilities including 18 hole Main Course, 9 hole Intermediate Course, 18 hole Par 3 Course, Driving Range with TrackMan technology, Pro Shop, Gym, Pirate Golf and Bar & Restaurant.

Our Driving Range at Hoebridge is one of the busiest in the areas, with 30 bays all with TrackMan technology and a bar serving food and drink throughout the day. The TrackMan Driving Range system is used by 96 of the World’s top 100 golfers to improve their game and at Hoebridge can be used to sharpen our guests game with the same radar technology. All of the bays are fitted with touch screens supplying ball tracking data, fun games and virtual golf enabling our guests to play some of the finest golf courses in the world. With a bar also situated alongside this technology our range is perfect for both the experienced golfer and group of friends looking for a fun day out.

Reporting directly to the General Manager the Driving Range Hospitality Manager is responsible for leading the Range Team to achieve revenue and deliver consistently high service and presentation levels to our driving range customers. In addition, they will hold key responsibility for the revenue taken across this department.

The Range Manager and Range Team provide the first point of contact for members and visitors to our Driving Range, as such the role is instrumental in delivering a memorable experience, both in terms of presentation standards, and the welcome our guests receive.

This position is a full time 40 hour contract, based on our Driving Range in a covered outdoor setting. Weekend and evening work will be needed as these are our core working hours.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the driving range team in providing excellent customer service
• Produce operational and marketing plans to achieve and succeed the set revenue budget
• Responsible for controlling the departments profit and loss account
• Meet and greet customers on arrival and direct to their bay.
• Upsell and serve food and drink from the range bar and deliver to their range bay
• Lead the daily range opening and lockdown procedures.
• Manage and maintain the presentation standards and cleanliness of driving range facilities and as required the collection of range balls.
• Produce, adapt and train operational procedures detailing action required to resolve any maintenance issues with the Range Bays and TrackMan system.
• Ensure all customers are using the driving range safely whilst complying to the driving range policy on range balls
• Maintain all marketing materials within the driving range ensuring they are presentable and in date with current events.
• Works with other departments to ensure efficiencies of operations
