Job summary

M4 Specialist are recruiting an experienced Driver's Mate for a leading national retailer in Northampton (NN4 9BD). This is a full-time night-shift role requiring flexibility and physical fitness.

You will unload stock, deactivate and reactivate store alarms, unlock and secure stores, and communicate with staff. Night shifts run Thursday to Monday after induction.

Qualifications

• Previous Driver's Mate experience preferred.
• Good level of spoken and written English.
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling.
• Willing and able to work night shifts.
• Flexible approach to working hours.

Driver's Mate - Northampton (NN4 9BD)

M4 Specialist are currently recruiting experienced Driver's Mates on behalf of our client, a leading national retailer based in Northampton

This is a full time night-shift role requiring flexibility and physical fitness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unloading stock at delivery locations


• Deactivating and reactivating store alarms


• Unlocking and securing stores


• Communicating effectively with store staff


• Stacking and organising stock after unloading

Working Hours:

• Flexible start times, typically from lunchtime onwards


• Night work is required


• Following a successful induction, shifts will be Thursday to Monday each week

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Driver's Mate preferred


• Good level of spoken and written English


• Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling


• Willing and able to work night shifts


• Flexible approach to working hours

Pay Rates:

• Monday - Friday: £12.80 per hour


• Saturday: £13.92 per hour


• Sunday: £15.26 per hour
