Job summary

Evri Group in Bridgend is seeking a HGV Class 2 driver at Pen Y Bont Depot to safely transport palletised parcels, typically 4–5 drops per shift, and to keep paperwork up to date.

This full-time role offers 40 hours per week, a pay rate of £14.69 per hour with overtime at £22.04, plus a 3% pension and life assurance, plus flexible benefits to suit you.

Newly qualified drivers are welcome and will receive training; Evri is committed to an inclusive, supportive team.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 entitlements (Cat C) and Driver CPC are required.
• Digital tachograph and full UK driving licence are needed.
• Reasonable physical fitness and the ability to pass a driving assessment.

Responsibilities

• Typically perform 4–5 drops per shift and maintain paperwork.
• Operate safely on shifts and adhere to rotas (4 out of 7 days, pre-advanced).

HGV Class 2 Day Driver Pen Y Bont

What You’ll Do

Our HGV Class 2 drivers work on shifts, safely transporting our palletised parcels to couriers or collecting from delivery units. You will typically run 4‑5 drops ensuring safe, efficient driving and keeping paperwork updated.

Full‑time roles are 40 hours a week, with flexible contracts and part‑time hours available. Full time is any 5 shifts out of 7; rotas are given in advance.

Essential Skills & Experience Required

• You’ll need a full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2 (Cat C) entitlements, driver CPC and digital tachograph. Newly qualified drivers are welcome, however all drivers will need to undertake a short driving assessment.
• Reasonable physical fitness
