Job summary

EVRi Group is seeking a full-time HGV Class 2 driver for our Normanton depot. You will transport palletised parcels to couriers or pickup points, typically with 4–5 drops per run, while keeping records up to date. The role offers 40 hours per week across 5 shifts out of 7, with rotas provided in advance.

Applicants must hold a Category C driving licence with CPC and tachograph, and be prepared for a short driving assessment. Excellent communication and a safety-first mindset are essential.

£16.16 per hour with an overtime rate of £24.24 once full‑time hours are completed.

What You’ll Do

Our HGV Class 2 drivers work on shifts, safely transporting our palletised parcels to Couriers or collecting from Delivery Units (that's where our couriers pick them up). You will typically have a run with 4‑5 drops ensuring the safe, efficient driving of vehicles and keeping the paperwork updated.

Our full‑time HGV Class 2 driver roles are 40 hours a week, but flexible contracts and part‑time hours are available. Full time is any 5 shifts out of 7, rotas are given in advance.

Essential Skills & Experience Required

• You’ll need a full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2 (Cat C) entitlements, driver’s CPC and digital tachograph. Newly‑qualified drivers are welcome; however all drivers will need to undertake a short driving assessment.
