Job summary

Evri Group in Birmingham is hiring for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our busy depot. Full-time roles are 40 hours per week across 5 shifts out of 7; day shifts typically start around 13:00–14:00 and deliver palletised parcels to couriers or delivery units.

You’ll need a full UK HGV Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, digital tachograph and a short driving assessment. We offer competitive pay (£15.11/hr), overtime (£22.67/hr), generous annual leave, a pension and flexible benefits.

• Full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2 entitlements, Driver CPC and digital tachograph.
• Newly-qualified drivers are welcome; a short driving assessment will be undertaken.
• Reasonable physical fitness is required.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 2 vehicles and safely transport palletised parcels.
• Deliver to couriers or Delivery Units and ensure paperwork is up to date.
• Work 40 hours per week across 5 shifts out of 7, typically starting around 13:00–14:00.

We currently have exciting, flexible opportunities for HGV Class 2 Day Drivers (or Cat C Drivers as we sometimes call them) to join our growing Birmingham depot.

Day shifts typically start at 13:00 - 14:00

What You’ll Do:

OurHGV Class 2drivers work on shifts, safely transporting our palletised parcels to Couriers or collectingfromDelivery Units (that's where our couriers pick them up). You will typically have a run with 4 - 5drops ensuring the safe, efficient driving of vehicles and keeping thepaperwork updated.

Our full-time HGV Class 2 driver roles are 40 hours a week,but flexible contracts and part time hours are available.Full time is any 5 shifts out of 7, rotas are given in advance.

Essential Skills & Experience Required:

• You’ll need a full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2(Cat C) entitlements, driver's CPC and digital tachograph. Newly-qualified drivers are welcome, however all drivers will need to undertake a short driving assessment.
