Pertemps Wolverhampton Temps is hiring a Delivery Driver / General Operative in Wolverhampton for an immediate start. The role is temporary to permanent and client-facing, with a pay rate of £13.50 per hour and full uniform provided.

Responsibilities include vehicle loading, routing, on-site customer service, and general shop-floor and maintenance tasks. This position offers ongoing growth with the client as they expand.

Responsibilities

• Drive and deliver to local companies using SWB van
• Prep and load the vehicle for each shift
• Plan routes and ensure timely deliveries
• Provide excellent customer service on site
• Maintain the vehicle and keep it clean and tidy
• Perform general operative duties on the shop floor
• Carry out general maintenance around the facility
• Operate and mind machines as required

Delivery Driver/General Operative

We are recruiting a delivery driver/general operative to join our client in Wolverhampton.

The role is client facing and you will need to have good interpersonal skills and excellent customer services.

Duties of a delivery driver/general operative

• Use of the company van SWB
• Deliver to local companies on occasion
• Prep and load the vehicle
• Plan the route
• Deliver excellent customer service when on customer sites
• Maintain the vehicle and ensure clean and tidy.
• General operative duties on the shop floor
• General maintenance round the facility
• Machine operating
• Machine minding
