World Courier (UK) Ltd in Edinburgh is seeking a reliable Logistics Operative to support warehouse and distribution tasks for temperature-controlled shipments. You will follow instructions from Dispatch, Operations, and Customer Service, ensure accuracy and timeliness, and maintain compliance with ADR, AvSec, and IATA requirements.

• Preparation and assembly of both single-use and reusable packaging solutions.
• If required, assist with the pre-conditioning of temperature-controlled phase change materials (PCMs) and gel packs in accordance with operational requirements.
• Perform the refurbishment, maintenance, and preparation of reusable packaging systems and associated components to ensure they remain fit for purpose and compliant with operational standards.
• Assisting with the management of stock control
• Assist with the replenishment and conditioning of temperature-controlled materials, including gel packs, dry ice, and other packaging components, to ensure shipment integrity and compliance with temperature requirements.

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required. 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, inventory control, or a related field required. Certification in forklift operation, licensure in commercial vehicle operation appropriate for assigned vehicle class and transported materials or equivalent preferred.
