Job summary

Cencora is seeking a dedicated logistics professional to join our Edinburgh-area operations. The role involves ensuring accurate, timely shipments and strict adherence to regulatory standards in a fast-paced environment.

You'll work with Dispatch, Operations and Customer Service teams to meet customer expectations while maintaining cost efficiency and compliance with ADR, AvSec and IATA guidelines. Forklift experience and a High School diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, inventory control, or a related field.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Forklift certification preferred or required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• All tasks are completed accurately and on time, while maintaining cost effectiveness.
• Shipments transported using secure, timely and efficient methods.
• Follow instructions from Dispatch, Operations and Customer Service teams diligently.
• Comply with company policies, procedures and quality standards.
• Understand and meet customer needs and expectations to high standards.
• Comply with ADR, AvSec and IATA requirements and other regulations.
• Assist with stock control and with replenishment of temperature-controlled materials as needed.

Responsibilities

• All tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and within required timescales, while maintaining cost effectiveness.
• Shipments are transported using the most secure, timely, and operationally efficient methods available.
• Instructions provided by Dispatch, Operations, and Customer Service teams are followed diligently and professionally.
• All activities are performed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Customer needs and expectations are consistently understood, prioritised, and met to the highest standard.
• All applicable regulations, legislation, and industry guidelines are fully complied with, including but not limited to ADR, AvSec and IATA requirements.
• Preparation and assembly of both single-use and reusable packaging solutions.
• If required, assist with the pre-conditioning of temperature‑controlled phase change materials (PCMs) and gel packs in accordance with operational requirements.
• Perform the refurbishment, maintenance, and preparation of reusable packaging systems and associated components to ensure they remain fit for purpose and compliant with operational standards.
• Assisting with the management of stock control.
• Assist with the replenishment and conditioning of temperature‑controlled materials, including gel packs, dry ice, and other packaging components, to ensure shipment integrity and compliance with temperature requirements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
• 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, inventory control, or a related field required.
• Certification in forklift operation, licensure in commercial vehicle operation appropriate for assigned vehicle class and transported materials or equivalent preferred.
