Base Pay Range

Salary: £12.35 per hour

Full Time; Permanent, 39 hours per week

Location: Leeds LS10, West Yorkshire

Company Profile

Our client, based on the outskirts of Leeds, has been established for 24 years and is the market leader in the manufacture of furniture for the Hospitality Industry. They manufacture and fit out hotels with bespoke furniture for clients such as Hilton, Sheraton, Holiday Inn & Crowne Plaza.

Job Purpose

To undertake driving duties on an ‘as and when’ basis as directed by the dispatch manager. At all other times, you will work with the dispatch team to ensure products are packaged correctly and ready to leave on time.

Responsibilities

• Drive in a safe and considerate manner
• Load and unload stock
• Have a flexible approach to your work
• Occasional overnight stays with accommodation provided
• Be a proactive team player and committed to continuous improvement
• Adhere to and maintain all Health & Safety requirements, personal and companywide

Essential Skills

• A full, clean driving licence held for a minimum of two years
• Ability to work flexible hours when required
• Attention to detail regarding warehouse tasks and scheduling
• Willingness to travel as required
• Ability to perform manual handling, including lifting heavy objects
• Good communication skills to relay information and understand team requirements
• High energy and endurance for a fast-paced environment
• Warehouse experience is preferable but not essential
