Job summary

Activate Group Limited is hiring for a Driver/Valet/Yardsman at our Manchester location. You will be responsible for timely collection, valet and re-delivery of customer and courtesy vehicles, while ensuring high standards of customer service and accurate documentation.

Role requires a full driving licence and logistics experience, with a focus on safety and communication. You will support yard organisation and operate within health and safety guidelines across our Accident Repair sites.

Qualifications

• Full driving license held with correct classification.
• Experience in logistics coordination and vehicle handling.
• Experience evaluating vehicle condition or appraisal.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and professional demeanor.
• Attention to detail in paperwork and processes.
• Positive attitude and proactive approach to tasks.
• Effective time management at each booking.

Responsibilities

• Carry out collection and delivery of customer vehicles and complete required paperwork.
• Drive vehicles safely and report faults or issues promptly.
• Ensure correct transfer documentation when exchanging vehicles.
• Prepare vehicles for delivery, including cleaning and presentation.
• Ensure customer paperwork and damage records are accurate and complete.
• Notify of delays to customers and reception staff as needed.
• Adhere to health and safety rules at all times.
• Keep yard tidy and organized; move vehicles between lots as directed.
