Gill Freight Limited in the West Midlands is seeking a Class 1 Tramper Driver for Oldbury. The role focuses on safe driving, reliable delivery schedules, and excellent customer service across our mid-mile operations.

You will drive with a valid C+E licence, CPC, and a clean record, with shifts Sun-Thu (Afternoon to Night). No loading/unloading is required, and we offer meal allowance, holiday pay, pension, and training opportunities.

Formación

• Valid C+E Class 1 license with no more than six penalty points and no disqualifications.
• 1 year minimum Class 1 driver experience.
• Driver CPC card valid with no suspensions.
• Right to work in the UK.
• English language skills for safety.
• Willing to undergo a background check.
• Willing to take a drug and alcohol test.

Responsabilidades

• Drive Class 1 Tramper trucks safely and in accordance with regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and reliable communication with clients.
• Collaborate positively with team members to meet schedules.
• No loading/unloading required; focus on safe driving and route efficiency.

There’s no loading or unloading required. It’s all about driving safely, providing good customer service, and working positively with other members of the team.

You must have:

• Valid C+E Class 1 license with no more than six penalty points (as well as no DD, DR or IN endorsements)
• 1 years Minimum Class 1 Driver experience
• Driver CPC card with no current suspension or revocation
• Right to work in the UK
• English language skills for safety
• Willing to undergo a Background Check and Drug and Alcohol test
