Woodside Tankfreight in Preston is seeking an experienced Driver Trainer to educate and update our milk collection/delivery drivers on the latest procedures and legislation for safe, efficient duties including CPC training. The role requires flexible hours and the ability to work with telemetric data to assess performance.

The successful candidate will lead induction and continuous training, ensure drivers understand and meet customer requirements, and maintain vehicle and uniform standards

Qualifications

• Must possess clean Class 1 (C&E) LGV licence.
• Minimum 1 year LGV driver training experience.
• Experience delivering CPC training and updating procedures.
• Strong knowledge of current transport legislation.
• Health & Safety qualification required.

Responsabilités

• Train, educate and update Tankfreight drivers on safe and efficient procedures.
• Induct and train newly recruited drivers in health & safety and company policies.
• Deliver training on loading/offloading of liquids and powders and point-specific procedures.
• Assess driver performance using telemetric data and provide feedback.
• Conduct annual formal assessments of company HGV drivers.
• Update training content and CPC course development in collaboration with management.
