Zusammenfassung

NEXT plc is seeking a Driver Trainer for our South Ockendon Regional Service Centre. You will drive safety, confidence, and efficiency by delivering CPC training and LGV assessments to recruits and drivers, in a role focused on quality coaching and compliance within the transport network.

Working closely with the Transport Management Team, Training Manager, and Driving Academy, you will plan inductions, conduct assessments, and adjust schedules as needed to support weekend or regional needs,

Qualifikationen

• Must hold a Class 1 (C+E) licence and have at least 1 year of Class 1 driving experience with tachograph rules knowledge.
• Experience delivering Driver CPC training in classroom and online formats.
• LGV Assessor Qualification or equivalent.
• Strong planning and scheduling skills to meet Transport department needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Aufgaben

• Conduct Van and LGV driving assessments for recruitment of core and agency Drivers.
• Plan and deliver engaging induction programmes for all new permanent and agency drivers.
• Carry out routine driving assessments, post-accident retraining, and tailored coaching to support driver development.
• Deliver interactive CPC training through classroom and online sessions.
• Ensure initial driver licence checks, training guidelines, and risk assessments comply with legislation and standards.
• Keep training records and documentation up to date.
• Occasional travel to other Regional Service Centres or adjust hours to support operations.
