Job summary

Kinaxia Logistics Limited in Colchester is seeking a dedicated Driver Trainer to deliver ongoing assessments and CPC training to drivers. You will ensure compliance, safety, and efficiency by monitoring driver performance and maintaining accurate training records.

Working Monday to Friday with a 40k per annum salary, you will collaborate with HR and operations to onboard new drivers, analyse trends from telematics, and support FORS audits while promoting best practices across the fleet.

Qualifications

• Instructors Licence.
• Approved Driver CPC trainer.
• Class 1 driving licence.
• Driver assessor or instructor experience.
• Experience of completing driver assessments and training for audits (FORS).
• Ability to apply Driver regulations into practice.
• Telematics experience with TruTac, Microlise, Haultech.
• Strong presentation and training delivery skills.
• Administration to record and maintain data.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assist all Drivers to ensure daily tasks comply with regulations and safety.
• Deliver all Driver CPC training and maintain records for expiry hours.
• Prepare FORS and internal audit documentation and ensure standards at each location.
• Utilise telematics to monitor driver behaviour and complete de-briefs for safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with HR to onboard new Drivers with Health & Safety training.
• Generate group reports for Compliance to maintain accurate statistics.
• Monitor Drivers' hours and Working Time, supporting additional training as needed.

Kinaxia are recruiting a Driver Trainer to join their team at their site in Colchester. The role of the Driver Trainer will be to provide ongoing assessments and training to all Drivers to ensure they have the skills and capability to fulfill their role effectively, efficiently and safely.

About The Job

• Monitor and assist all Drivers to ensure they have the ability to complete their daily tasks in accordance with all regulations without taking, or causing any additional risks;
• Deliver all Driver CPC training and maintain accurate records to ensure all the required hours are completed prior to their expiry dates;
• Maintain accurate records for internal purposes and FORS to ensure each location meets all required standards in preparation for both external and internal audits;
• Fully utilise the telematics systems to monitor driver behaviours and safe driving, including monitoring infringements and completing driver De-Briefs to ensure they are driving safely and efficiently and meeting agreed KPI's;
• Work closely with HR to induct and train all new Drivers during the onboarding process with regards to Health & Safety and Safe Working Practices to ensure each employee has the skills and knowledge to work safely both within their role and environment;
• Collate required information, including Driver behaviours into Group reports in order for the Compliance Department to maintain accurate statistical data.
• Monitor Driver's hours and Working Time in line with current legislation support drivers with additional training as required.

Your Knowledge And Experience

• Instructors Licence
• Approved Driver CPC trainer
• Class 1 driving licence
• Driver assessor or instructor experience

• The ability to apply the application of Driver regulations into practice
