The John Lewis Partnership is recruiting for a Driver Technician Trainee in the United Kingdom. You'll complete a 3-month trainee programme to become a fully qualified John Lewis Customer Delivery Technician with a C1 driving licence, delivering as part of a two-person crew and installing products at customers' homes.
This full-time role involves heavy lifting and varied hours across Monday to Saturday (early starts to late finishes).
As a Driver Technician Trainee, you'll be supported through our extensive 3-month trainee programme to become a fully qualified John Lewis Customer Delivery Technician with a C1 driving licence. Once you're fully trained, you'll have the unique opportunity of bringing our distinctive John Lewis service right to our customers' door and installing the products they love into their homes (such as furniture, large electrical appliances, sound systems and TV sets) as part of a 2-person delivery crew., Being an ambassador for the John Lewis brand with great customer service is your number one priority.
Please note that this role involves heavy lifting. You will spend a lot of time delivering large items such as sofas, white goods, sports equipment, furniture, beds, and mattresses.
UK B-Category manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
Varied hours of full time work (41 Hours) across Monday to Saturday to include early starts, late finishes, evenings and weekends between the hours of 06:00 - 17:00.
