Job Title: Driver Technician

Role Overview:

As a Driver Technician, you will support the operational delivery of the Safety and Communications business. You will travel regularly to various locations, responsible for the delivery and collection of Safety and Communications hire equipment, and demonstrate the technical equipment in operation to customers. As the face of Sunbelt Rentals, you will present yourself professionally, communicate effectively with customers onsite, and promote the positive image of the business.

Your Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver and collect equipment to customers, completing relevant checks and administration
2. Drive all company vehicles safely and professionally, conducting vehicle safety checks
3. Issue safety and communication equipment and materials to clients onsite
4. Demonstrate safety equipment in operation during delivery
5. Diagnose and repair equipment as needed
6. Promote safety standards and ensure compliance with equipment standards
7. Maintain effective relationships with the Operations team
8. Undertake pre-hire checks and functionality tests to support branch workloads
9. Enhance Sunbelt Rentals' profile through a professional attitude
10. Complete all reporting and administration in line with company standards
11. Achieve key performance indicators in a dynamic environment
12. Maintain company standards under pressure, acting safely at all times
13. Promote Sunbelt Rentals' services and benefits to clients, seeking additional revenue opportunities
14. Collaborate with operations to resolve customer issues promptly and satisfactorily
15. Conduct audit and compliance tasks
