Job summary

NHS National Services Scotland is seeking a Stock Controller/Driver at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee. The role supports Ward Product Management and replenishes clinical stock across Tayside.

Hours are 30 per week on a five-day rota; informal enquiries to Barry Forrest. The post is a 1 Year Fixed Term/Secondment opportunity open to current NHS Tayside employees with line-manager consent.

1 Year Fixed Term/ Secondment

A vacancy has arisen for a Stock Controller/Driver, within the Transport & Logistics Department at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee.

You will be required to provide an effective and efficient Ward Product Management service to the Dundee Health and Social Care Partnership - Community Treatment & Care Services. Ordering and replenishing clinical stock to a wide range of sites throughout Tayside.

You must have the ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative, follow instructions and possess good communication skills. IT skills and manual & handling skills required for daily tasks within the role.

You will be required to comply with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland throughout your employment.

Hours of work are: 30 hours per week / 5-day rota.
