Job summary

Staffline, the UK s largest recruitment business, is seeking a Recruitment Account Coordinator to support our Driving Division in Barnsley. You will help supply professional drivers to leading transport clients while delivering a first-class experience to candidates and customers.

This permanent, full-time, on-site role offers a salary up to £29,000 per annum plus bonus. Previous recruitment experience is beneficial, but transferrable skills from customer service or logistics are welcomed and

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment or related fields is advantageous.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Attention to detail and compliance with driving regulations and payroll processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate driver shift coverage to meet client staffing needs.
• Source and place qualified HGV/LGV drivers and professionals.
• Recruit, screen, interview, and onboard driving candidates.
• Verify licences, CPC qualifications, tachograph cards, and compliance checks.
• Manage driver availability, bookings, and rota planning.
• Process payroll data and validate driver hours.
• Handle driver queries, absences, and shift changes.
• Ensure compliance with transport legislation and client requirements.
• Build strong relationships with clients and drivers.
• Address staffing challenges and source solutions for operations.
• Support out-of-hours service continuity as needed.
