Job summary

The Stephen Longfellow Academy in Leeds is seeking a reliable Minibus Driver to provide safe transport for students to and from sports fixtures, educational visits, trips and other academy activities.

The postholder will perform daily vehicle inspections, assist with minibuses cleaning and support supervision of young people during travel, while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Full clean driving licence including D1 driving entitlement.
• High levels of concentration are essential.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Reliable and flexible approach to work.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and efficient transport for students to and from sports fixtures, educational visits, trips and academy activities.
• Undertake daily vehicle inspections and routine minibuses cleaning.
• Assist with supervision of young people whilst travelling where required.

The Stephen Longfellow Academy is seeking to recruit a reliable andcommitted colleague to the role of Minibus Driver. This is an important rolewithin the Academy, with the successful candidate responsible for providingsafe and efficient transport for students to and from sports fixtures,educational visits, trips and other academy activities. The postholder willalso undertake daily vehicle inspections, support the routine cleaning ofminibuses and, where required, assist with the supervision of young peoplewhilst travelling.
