Job summary

Cappagh Browne requires a reliable Driver Operative (3.5 Tonne) to support civils and utility projects across multiple sites in the Bishopstoke area. You will transport materials, assist with site setup, and help keep vehicles and work areas safe and well organised, working with site teams and supervisors.

Ideal candidates have a full, clean UK driving licence, experience driving up to 3.5 tonnes (tipper vehicles preferred), good communication, and a proactive approach to safety.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials and equipment between sites.

• Load and unload vehicles as required.
• Transport waste materials to approved disposal sites.
• Assist with site setup and operational activities.
• Participate in emergency call-out rota and occasional out-of-hours work.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll support civils and utility projects across multiple sites while helping to keep operations running smoothly., As a Driver Operative (3.5 Tonne), you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of civils works sites across the region. Working alongside Supervisors, Gangers and site teams, you'll carry out a range of practical duties, including transporting materials and equipment, supporting excavation and utility works, maintaining safe and organised work areas, and ensuring vehicles are kept clean and roadworthy. The role also involves loading and unloading vehicles, transporting waste materials to approved disposal sites, assisting with site setup and operational activities, and contributing to a positive health and safety culture. Flexibility is important, as you'll be required to participate in an emergency call-out rota and occasionally work outside of standard hours when operational needs require.

We're looking for someone who is dependable, safety-conscious and enjoys working as part of a team. Ideally, you'll have:
