Dorset Council UK is seeking an LGV Driver for the waste collection team in Bridport. The role offers Monday to Friday daytime shifts, 7.5-hour days, and local driving routes.

You will need a Category C licence with Driver CPC and a valid digital tachograph card. The job involves outdoor work, early mornings, and occasional weekends/bank holidays, with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Holds Category C driving licence and Driver CPC qualification.
• Has a valid digital tachograph card.
• Understands health and safety rules in a driving/collections role.
• Is physically fit and comfortable working outdoors.

Responsabilités

• Drive local routes on a 37-hour week with Monday–Friday daytime hours.
• Work early mornings with some weekend and bank holiday shifts; overtime available.

What You Will Be Doing

If you are looking for a driving role with variety, Monday to Friday daytime hours, 7.5 hour shifts, driving local routes, are physically fit and like working outdoors then this would be a great fit for you. We are looking for Drivers that have good understanding of Health and Safety. You must hold a minimum Category C driving licence have a current digital tachograph card and evidence of a completed Drivers CPC qualification is essential. You will work 37 hours per week with early mornings and some weekend and bank holiday working. Opportunity to work overtime is available.
