Fortus Recruitment Group is recruiting a Waste Clearance Driver/Labourer for a housing provider in the United Kingdom. The role combines driving, waste clearance and general labour across residential properties and estates, ensuring clean and safe environments for residents.

Successful candidates will clear waste, transport materials safely, assist with fly-tipping responses and maintain accurate records, with a friendly, professional attitude and a readiness to support other teams as required.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out waste clearance and general labouring duties across residential properties and estates
• Drive vehicles to collect and remove waste when required
• Remove and dispose of general refuse, bulky items and appliances
• Respond to fly-tipping incidents and clear waste from designated areas
• Load, unload and transport waste materials safely
• Maintain cleanliness of communal areas, gardens and estates
• Separate recyclable materials according to procedures
• Use tools and equipment safely and follow manual handling practices
• Complete collection records and paperwork accurately
• Report hazards and damaged equipment promptly
• Interact professionally with residents and the public
• Support other teams with general duties as needed

We are currently working with an established housing provider seeking a reliable and hardworking Waste Clearance Driver/Labourer to join their team.

This role involves a combination of driving, physical waste clearance and general labouring duties across residential properties, communal areas and external estates. The successful candidate will help maintain clean, safe and presentable environments for residents by removing unwanted items, clearing waste and responding to fly-tipping incidents.

Duties will include:

• Carrying out waste clearance and general labouring duties across residential properties, communal areas and external spaces
• Driving vehicles to designated locations to collect and remove waste, where required
• Removing and disposing of general refuse, bulky items, furniture and unwanted household appliances
• Responding to fly-tipping incidents and clearing waste from designated areas
• Loading, unloading and transporting waste materials safely and efficiently
• Maintaining cleanliness across communal areas, gardens and residential estates
• Separating recyclable materials in accordance with waste management procedures
• Using tools and equipment safely and following correct manual handling practices
• Completing collection records and relevant paperwork accurately
• Reporting hazards, damaged equipment and health and safety concerns promptly
• Maintaining a professional and considerate approach when interacting with residents and members of the public
• Supporting other teams with general duties as required

• The ability to follow instructions and complete tasks to a high standardA flexible approach to work and willingness to support wider team requirements

Desirable:

• A full UK driving licence
• Previous experience in waste clearance, waste management, labouring, grounds maintenance or a similar role
• Experience driving or operating waste collection vehicles and associated equipment
• Manual handling training
• Knowledge of recycling and waste disposal procedures

Working hours and benefits:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
