Job summary

Wolseley Group is seeking a Delivery Driver - HGV (C) up to 18T for Darlington. The role is full-time, 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with responsibilities including delivering goods to customer locations, checks, and documentation.

Ideal candidates hold a full UK Driving Licence with HGV C, Driver CPC, and a Digital Tachograph Card, and have experience in multi-drop deliveries. The company offers a competitive package with bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Transporting goods in 12T–18T vehicles.
• Safely delivering products to customer locations with professional service.
• Carrying out daily vehicle and load checks; ensuring safety and legal compliance.
• Completing delivery documentation and using IT systems.
• Building strong customer relationships and representing Wolseley Group positively.
• Supporting warehouse operations when not driving.

The role is full-time, working 45 hours a week Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Transporting goods in vehicles ranging in size from 12T to 18T.
• Safely delivering products to multiple customer locations, providing a professional and courteous service.
• Performing daily vehicle and load checks, ensuring compliance with safety and legal standards.
• Accurately completing delivery documentation and using IT systems effectively.
• Building strong customer relationships and representing the company positively.
• Supporting warehouse operations when driving duties are not required.

And here’s what we’d like you to have?

• Full UK Driving Licence with HGV Category C, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience in multi-drop deliveries and operating a Lorry Loader.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic IT skills and knowledge of vehicle defect checks.
