Job summary

Wolseley UK in Darlington is seeking a Delivery Driver – HGV (C) up to 18T to join our Supply Chain team. You will transport goods in 12T–18T vehicles and deliver to multiple customer locations with a professional, courteous service.

This full‑time role is 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday. You will perform daily vehicle checks, complete delivery documentation and support warehouse operations when not driving.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence with HGV Category C, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience in multi-drop deliveries and operating a Lorry Loader.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic IT skills and knowledge of vehicle defect checks.
• Commitment to safe driving practices and adherence to Health & Safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Transporting goods in vehicles ranging in size from 12T to 18T.
• Safely delivering products to multiple customer locations, providing a professional and courteous service.
• Performing daily vehicle and load checks, ensuring compliance with safety and legal standards.
• Accurately completing delivery documentation and using IT systems effectively.
• Building strong customer relationships and representing the company positively.
• Supporting warehouse operations when driving duties are not required.
