Job summary

Marlborough Highways Ltd in Windsor/Maidenhead region is seeking a Driver Operative to join the Operations team on a full-time basis. You will work alongside foremen and supervisors, carrying out highway works safely and efficiently.

The role includes manual digging, material handling, barrier setup, and occasional forklift use (training provided). A 7.5 tonne licence is essential; HGV preferred, winter maintenance qualification welcome, and CSCS card beneficial.

Qualifications

• Must hold a 7.5 Tonne licence; HGV experience preferred.
• Winter maintenance qualification preferred.
• Ability to work well in a team and be willing to learn.
• Driving licence with access to a vehicle would be beneficial.
• Experience in highways sector would be beneficial.
• CSCS card would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Shovelling and excavating by hand.
• Lifting, carrying materials.
• Setting up pedestrian barriers.
• Attending safety training including SSRA & RAMS briefings and refreshers.
