Job summary

Via is expanding its mobility service in Wiltshire. Join as a professional driver and help shape the future of shared passenger transport. You will work as an independent contractor with a fixed hourly pay rate and bonus payments, in a role that offers flexible hours and on-site support.

Expect to drive evenings and weekends, with a signing bonus after 60 hours in the first month and a refer-a-friend bonus of £250 per successful referral. Vehicles provided by the company.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 years.
• Full UK driving license held for at least 12 months.
• Good English skills (B2 level or higher).
• Openness to working flexible schedules, including evenings or weekends.
• Independent contractor relationship with flexible working hours.

Refer-a-Friend Bonus

Earn £250 for every Wiltshire council PHV-licensed driver you refer who joins us and works a minimum of 60 hours during their first month. Terms and conditions apply.

Tasks

• Drive passengers safely and reliably in Wiltshire
• Accept ride requests via our driver app and manage trips efficiently
• Offer friendly, professional service and assist passengers where needed
• Contribute to a service that improves everyday mobility - including for wheelchair passengers

Requirements

• Minimum age of 21 years
• Full UK driving license held for at least 12 months
• Strong driving skills and a calm driving style
• Friendly, courteous and professional demeanour
• Good English skills (B2 level or higher)
• Openness to working flexible schedules, including evenings or weekends
• Previous experience in passenger transport is an advantage, but not necessary
• Take-home pay rate up to £20 per hour
• Independent contractor relationship with flexible working hours
• Service hours: Monday to Friday, 6.00am to 8.00pm, Saturday 8am to 7.30pm
• Modern vehicles provided by us - no need for your own car
• Flexible, independent contractor employment relationship and a fixed hourly pay rate plus bonus payments
• A supportive team on site to help you at any point
