Job summary

Via Mobility in Worcester is expanding its mobility service and seeking a professional driver to join our team. You will drive passengers safely across Worcestershire, using our driver app to manage trips and ensure reliable, friendly service.

As an independent contractor, you’ll enjoy flexible hours, a take-home pay up to £20 per hour, and modern vehicles provided. The role supports wheelchair passengers and offers opportunities for bonus payments and referrals.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Wychavon PHV licence or be eligible for PHV status.
• Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
• Minimum age 21 years and good English (B2 or higher).
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Drive passengers safely across Worcestershire.
• Accept ride requests via driver app and manage trips.
• Provide friendly, professional service and assist passengers.
• Support wheelchair-accessible transport where needed.

Earn £250 for every Wychavon PHV-licensed driver you refer who joins us and works a minimum of 60 hours during their first month. Terms and conditions apply.

Tasks

• Drive passengers safely and reliably across Worcestershire
• Accept ride requests via our driver app and manage trips efficiently
• Offer friendly, professional service and assist passengers where needed
• Contribute to a service that improves everyday mobility – including for wheelchair passengers

Requirements

• Minimum age of 21 years
• Wychavon PHV licence
• Full UK driving license held for at least 12 months
• Strong driving skills and a calm driving style
• Friendly, courteous and professional demeanour
• Good English skills (B2 level or higher)
• Openness to working flexible schedules, including evenings or weekends
• Previous experience in passenger transport is an advantage, but not necessary
