Job summary

Lamb Personnel Ltd. is seeking a Driver for a thriving engineering business in Kingston upon Thames, with work across London and surrounding areas. Starting salary is £28,000, with hours flexibly between 7am and 7pm, minimum 40 hours per week and occasional weekends. A van is provided.

You will collect and deliver materials, assist engineers, and support stock, packing, and deliveries, with opportunities for career progression and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Up to date with information technology.
• A full clean driving licence.
• Substantial previous driving experience.
• Good timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Collecting and delivering materials from site to site
• Assisting with servicing devices under guidance of Engineers
• Attending stockists to purchase/collect materials
• Assisting with call outs if required
• Assisting engineers with ladder support and other high-level equipment.
• Collecting materials for recycling
• Supporting the Stores team with day-to-day stockroom tasks when required
• Assisting with packing and preparing materials for delivery
• Helping to arrange and process material collections and deliveries
• Providing flexible support between office/store tasks and on-road duties

Driving location: London and surrounding areas

Starting Salary: £28,000

Hours: flexibly between 7am to 7pm, with a minimum of 40 hours per week and occasionally weekends
