Job summary

Lamb Personnel ltd in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey, is seeking a driver to join a thriving engineering business working in London and surrounding areas. A van will be provided and starting salary is £28,000 with hours flexible between 7am and 7pm, 40 hours a week, with occasional weekends.

Responsibilities include collecting and delivering materials, assisting engineers, stock duties, and flexible support between office/store tasks and on-road duties.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Up to date with information technology.
• A full clean driving licence.
• Substantial previous driving experience.
• Good timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Collecting and delivering materials from site to site
• Assisting with servicing devices under guidance of Engineers
• Attending stockists to purchase/collect materials
• Assisting with call outs if required
• Assisting engineers with ladder support and other high-level equipment
• Collecting materials for recycling
• Supporting the Stores team with day-to-day stockroom tasks when required
• Assisting with packing and preparing materials for delivery
• Helping to arrange and process material collections and deliveries
• Providing flexible support between office/store tasks and on-road duties
