Job summary

Green Arrow Care Providers Ltd in Hackney is seeking a Driver - Domiciliary Care Assistant to join a caring, client‑centred team. The role is primarily driving a company car between client visits, with care delivered alongside a second carer.

About the Role

This position is primarily a driving role. We are recruiting a confident, safe, and reliable driver who will spend the majority of the working day driving a company car and transporting another carer between client visits.

Alongside driving, you will support your colleague in delivering personal care and daily living assistance during each visit. Applicants must be fully comfortable with a role where driving is the main responsibility and care delivery is carried out jointly with another carer

For this reason, we welcome applicants who are comfortable providing sensitive, intimate, and dignity‑focused personal care, and who can build trust and rapport with clients who may have specific comfort needs.

Essential Requirements
  • -Full UK driving licence
  • -Access to your own vehicle (insured for business use)
  • -Confident driving long distances and navigating multiple visits
  • -Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • -Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to high‑quality care
  • -Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • -Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • -Commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical practice
  • -Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic care environment
Desirable Skills (Not Essential)
  • - Previous experience in care or support roles
  • - Training or knowledge related to personal care, safeguarding, or health and social care
  • - Confidence using digital tools and care‑recording systems
