Job summary

Support Solutions is seeking kind, dependable Care Assistants to support individuals in their own homes across the UK. You’ll help with daily living tasks, promote independence and dignity, and provide compassionate, person-centred care.

No prior care experience is required as full training is provided; DBS checks are part of the process, and there are ongoing training and development opportunities within a friendly team.

Qualifications

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

  • Providing personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
  • Providing companionship and emotional support.
  • Assisting with meals, medication reminders and light housekeeping.
  • Supporting mobility and transfers to ensure comfort and safety.
  • Communicating clearly with clients, families and healthcare professionals.
  • Keeping care records and reporting concerns.
  • Following health, safety and confidentiality guidelines.

About the Role

We’re looking for kind, dependable and caring Care Assistants to join our friendly and growing team. You’ll be supporting individuals in their own homes, helping them live independently, safely and with dignity.

No two days are the same, but every day is rewarding.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Supporting with personal care such as bathing, dressing and grooming
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Helping with everyday tasks including meal preparation, medication reminders and light housekeeping
  • Assisting with mobility and transfers, ensuring comfort and safety at all times
  • Communicating clearly with clients, families and healthcare professionals
  • Keeping accurate care records and reporting any concerns
  • Following all health, safety and confidentiality guidelines

No previous care experience is required - full training is provided. Previous experience is welcome but not essential.

What We’re Looking For
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle (essential)
  • A caring, patient and empathetic nature
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A flexible approach to working hours
  • Willingness to complete a DBS check and required training
  • £12.21 – £14.00 per hour (depending on experience, qualifications and shift pattern)
  • Paid travel time at your hourly rate
