Premiere Kitchens in Gloucestershire seeks a reliable Class 2 Driver to ensure orders are delivered on time, in full, and with excellent customer service. You’ll be the face of the company, handling deliveries professionally and safely.

This full-time role (Mon–Fri, 40 hours) starts early (4am–7am) and may involve overtime. An on-site position in Hardwicke with a £17.19 hourly rate (£35,892.72 p.a.) is offered along with a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid driving licence (held for 1+ year), tachograph, and CPC card.
• Ability to drive vehicles ranging from 3.5T to 18T.
• Knowledge of tachograph rules, WTD, and road legislation.
• GCSEs in Maths & English; excellent time management and communication.
• Age 25+ (insurance requirement).

Responsibilities

At Premiere Kitchens, for over 30 years, we have specialised in designing, manufacturing and supplying thousands of high quality kitchens across the UK. Our site is based in Gloucestershire, employing local skilled people, many of whom have been with us for years!

We are looking for a reliable Class 2 Driver to ensure customer orders are delivered on time, in full, and with excellent customer service. You’ll be the face of our company, handling deliveries professionally and safely.

This role is directly responsible for:

• Take responsibility to deliver all orders ‘on time in full’
• Demonstrate a flexible willing approach, keeping an open mind when presented with unplanned issues or events.
• Complete all required paperwork, in line with procedures set out in the delivery driver’s manual.
• Show initiative when seeking resolution to customer service issues when on site.
• Report on site issues / short deliveries on any order affected
• Seek and report customer feedback, assisting the company in our aim to becoming the preferred supplier.
• Promote the company name, business and reputation at all times.
• Present yourself in an appropriate manner, fit for the ‘face of the company’
• Take a pro-active approach to internal focus groups, promoting and demonstrate the required ‘eye to detail’ and approach to quality in all aspects of the role.

What we're looking for:

• Good physical fitness for manual tasks (e.g., lifting, unloading, bending).

This role is full time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (start time between 4am-7am until completion). You will normally be required to work no more than an average of 48 hours per week over an 18-week period.

We are offering an hourly rate of £17.19 per hour / £35,892.72 per annum, plus overtime.
