Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Skelmersdale is seeking a professional Class 1 Driver to support our growing operation. You will cover the North West, delivering across multiple drops while maintaining the highest safety standards.

This full-time role requires a valid HGV CE licence, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card; night shifts are commonly involved. We offer a generous pension, 24/7 GP access, thousands of discounts and financial guidance.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (CE), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Ideally have 12 months recent Class 1 driving experience.
• Must be comfortable with manual handling.
• Night shift work experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Multi drop delivery - between 6 and 10 drops across the North West.
• Manual handling of customer products in rolling cages, boxes, pallets and loose items.
• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Complying with health and safety standards and road/vehicle regulations.

Pay Rate: £46,324.20

Grade: RCS P

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: 50 hours per week, Monday - Friday Nights 23:00 start

Location: Skelmersdale - WN8 8DY

We're looking for a professional Class 1 Driver to support our growing operation in Skelmersdale. Working across the North West, you'll play a key role in delivering excellent service to our customers while maintaining the highest safety standards.

A Typical Day May Involve

• Multi drop delivery - between 6 and 10 drops across the North West
• Manual handling of customer products in rolling cages, boxes, pallets and loose items. Use of manual pallet truck is required
• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

This Role Would Suit People Who

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (CE), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Ideally have 12 months recent Class 1 driving experience
• Must be comfortable with manual handling
• Previous experience working Night Shift would be beneficial
