Job summary

Speedy Group UK&I in Chester/Warrington region seeks a professional Category C Powered Access Driver to deliver and collect scissor lifts, boom lifts and MEWPs to customer sites. Join Warrington team and represent Speedy on the road with a strong safety and service mindset.

You’ll load, secure and transport equipment, perform safety checks, complete paperwork, and coordinate with transport and hire desk teams to ensure on-time delivery and excellent service.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) licence.
• Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• Experience driving commercially within the UK.

Responsibilities

• Safely loading, securing, transporting and unloading powered access equipment.
• Driving a rigid vehicle with plant body/beavertail.
• Carrying out vehicle and equipment safety checks.
• Delivering and collecting equipment on time and accurately.
• Completing delivery paperwork and digital records.
• Providing excellent customer service and working with the team.

Monday to Friday | 06:#####:00 | 45 hours per week

We're looking for a professional Category C (Class 2) Powered Access Driver to join our Warrington team, delivering and collecting powered access equipment including scissor lifts, boom lifts, and other MEWPs to and from customer sites.

The role

As one of our drivers, you'll be the face of Speedy on the road and with our customers. You’ll be responsible for:

• Safely loading, securing, transporting, and unloading powered access equipment
• Driving a rigid vehicle with a plant body and/or beavertail
• Carrying out vehicle and equipment safety checks
• Delivering and collecting equipment safely and on time
• Completing delivery paperwork and digital records accurately
• Working closely with our transport and hire desk teams
• Providing excellent customer service
• Following all road traffic and health & safety requirements

What you'll need

• Full UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence
• Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
• Experience driving commercially within the UK
• Good knowledge of the local area
• A strong focus on safety and customer service
• A positive, reliable, and self-motivated approach
• Powered access, plant, or beavertail experience would be an advantage
