Job summary

Speedy is the UK’s leading hire provider of tools, equipment and MEWPs, and is seeking a Category C (Class 2) Powered Access Driver for the Warrington team. You will deliver and collect scissor lifts, boom lifts and other MEWPs, ensuring safety and on-time arrivals.

You’ll work Monday to Friday, around 45 hours per week, with start times around 06:00. The role includes loading, checks, paperwork, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Full UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence is required.
• Valid Driver CPC and tachograph card.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• Experience driving commercially within the UK.

Responsibilities

• Loading, securing, transporting and unloading powered access equipment.
• Delivering and collecting equipment from customer sites.
• Completing daily vehicle and equipment safety checks.
• Completing delivery paperwork and digital records.

We’re looking for a

professional Category C (Class 2) Powered Access Driver

to join our Warrington team, delivering and collecting powered access equipment including scissor lifts, boom lifts and other MEWPs.

The role

You’ll be out on the road representing Speedy and making sure our equipment reaches our customers safely, efficiently and on time.

Your day will include:

• Loading, securing, transporting and unloading powered access equipment
• Operating a rigid vehicle with a plant body and/or beavertail
• Completing daily vehicle and equipment safety checks
• Delivering and collecting equipment from customer sites
• Completing delivery paperwork and digital records
• Working closely with our transport and hire desk teams
• Providing a great service to our customers
• Following all road traffic, transport and health & safety requirements

What you’ll need

• Full UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Digital tachograph card
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
• Experience driving commercially within the UK
• Good knowledge of Warrington and the surrounding area
• A strong approach to safety and customer service
• Powered access, plant or beavertail experience would be a bonus
