Job summary

Speedy, the UK’s leading hire provider, is seeking a Delivery Driver (3.5 ton) in Glasgow. The role involves driving a flatbed van to deliver hire equipment around the local area; you will be the face of our business, contributing to our ESG goals and company values.

Working Mon-Fri, 07:30–17:00, 42 hours per week, with flexible/hybrid options and a pro rata salary of £29,572 per year. We offer generous holidays, pension, life assurance, and employee discounts along with training and development

Qualifications

• Must have a valid UK driving licence.
• Good knowledge of Glasgow and surrounding area.
• Strong customer focus and communication skills.
• Experience driving within the UK.
• Ability to support ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.

• Deliver hire equipment around the local area using a 3.5t flatbed van.

Based in Glasgow, the role of Delivery Driver is a busy and productive role. You will be driving a 3.5 ton flatbed van, delivering hire equipment around the local area. This role is vital to our operation; you will be the face of our business and a representation of our vision, mission and values.

What you’ll need:

• Driving licence
• Good knowledge of the local area
• Strong customer focus
• Experience driving within the UK
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.
