Job summary

Williams & Co. in Sevenoaks is seeking a part-time Driver & Branch Assistant to join our busy, friendly team. The role focuses on delivery driving to trades customers and supporting the branch day-to-day.

You will help maintain the warehouse, assist at the trade counter and on the phone, and pick orders for delivery. A full UK driving licence is essential, and weekend work is not required. We offer generous benefits including 33 days leave, pension, private medical insurance, and a cycle-to-work

Responsibilities

• Predominantly delivering plumbing and heating products to our trades customers in the local area.
• Maintaining the warehouse, including stock rotation and general housekeeping.
• Serving on the trade counter and handling incoming enquiries.
• Accurately picking orders in preparation for delivery.
• Receiving, checking and storing incoming goods.
• Assisting with the general upkeep of the branch.
• Processing quotes.

Salary: Up to £21,000 per annum DOE

Hours: 30 /week MON-FRI 07:00-13:30 *NO WEEKENDS!

Here at Williams, an independent trade-only plumbing and heating merchant, we're looking for a part-time Driver & Branch Assistant to join our busy and friendly team in Sevenoaks!

This is a varied and active role which includes: predominantly delivery driving and occasionally assisting with warehouse duties and serving customers on the trade counter and over the phone.

If you also have previous exposure of working within a plumbing and heating merchants, builders' merchants or wholesaler, trade counter, DIY, Hardware, or on the tools in the plumbing and heating trade, we would LOVE to hear from you!

As our Driver & Branch Assistant, you'll be:
