Micheldever Tyre Services is seeking a reliable 7.5T Driver to join our team, covering vehicles up to 7.5T and regular routes with business customers.

Your duties include delivering tyres and related products across our region, loading/unloading, and occasional 3.5T van shifts. Expect 20–30 deliveries daily and strict adherence to safety and paperwork. The role offers training opportunities and staff benefits.

• Deliver tyres and related products to customers across the region on AM/PM runs.

• Follow safe systems of work for accurate deliveries.

Micheldever Tyres Servicesislookingforareliable7.5TDriver to join our team.This is a multi-functional flexible role, covering all classes of vehicles up to 7.5T with a potential to have a regular routewithmostly regular business customers.

Supporting the warehouse operationwith loading and un-loading of vehiclesasrequired, collecting Bulk Deliveries from receiving Ports and Customer Returns to Distribution Centres with occasional monetary collections from Customers (including cash accounts).You should be aware that this role will involve manual handling and heavy lifting as there is a requirement to load and unload vehicles.

Shift Pattern:

Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week, 9 hours a day.

Must have:

Full Clean UK Driving Licence, held for at least 6 months (age restrictions may apply - points or offences may affect your application),a digital tachograph card, Driver Qualification

Training Opportunities:

Micheldever has strong Development Routes Programme offering CPC training, licence upgrade to C2 or C1 and general learning on health and safety and other warehouse/logisticsrelated topics.

About the role:

Your primary duties will include delivering tyres and associated products to our customer base across our region usually via AM and PM runs. As well as driving 7.5T vehicles you may fromtime to timedrive 3.5T vans.

On average, you will make 20 - 30 deliveries a day, depending on the area.

Adhereto operational procedures and safe systems of work to ensure efficient andaccuratedelivery of product to our internal and external customers

Assisttomaintainthe vehicle in a roadworthy manner, through Company Practices and Procedures.

Ensure legal compliance ismaintainedand thatthe work is carried out in line with Company policies and procedures

Ensure documentation is correct to vehicle & load prior to vehicle release from site.

Ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately andon-time

About you:

Previousexperience within a similar role

Experience of7.5Tdelivery

The ability to act on your own initiative and take responsibility for the quality of your work

Excellent work ethic and customer service skills.

A full UK driving licence (Category B)
