Job summary

Speedy Hire in Doncaster is seeking a Delivery Driver to operate a 3.5 ton flatbed van, delivering hire equipment around the local area. The role is busy and customer facing, with a focus on safe, reliable service.

Hours are Mon–Fri, 07:30–17:00, about 42 hours weekly. Salary is £29,572 per annum, pro rata, with overtime opportunities and a strong benefits package including pension, life cover and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Possess a driving licence and be able to assist trained rail engineers during weekends.
• Flexibility and availability on weekends and holidays (visibility at least 4 weeks in advance).
• Reliability is essential.
• Pass their PTS (Personal Track Safety).
• Attend product familiarisation training at their local Rail depot.

Based in Doncaster, the role of Delivery Driver is a busy and productive role. You will be driving a 3.5 ton flatbed van delivering hire equipment around the local area. This role is vital to our operation; you will be the face of our business and a representation of our vision, mission and values.

Requirements

• Possess a driving license and be able to assist trained rail engineers during weekends to support various jobs on track, such as setting out our sight lighting and operating our clipping machines.
• Flexibility and availability on weekends and holidays (visibility at least 4 weeks in advance to allow planning).
• Reliability.
• Pass their PTS (Personal Track Safety).
• Attend product familiarisation training at their local Rail depot.
