JDP, a leading civils drainage and water management supplier, invites applications for a Driver/Yard Operative in Wednesbury. You will deliver products to customers using a 3.5T vehicle, support yard operations and help keep the site tidy and efficient.

Join a busy, outdoor role that combines driving, customer service, and teamwork. You will load and unload, plan deliveries, and work closely with the team to ensure on-time, safe service.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required and clean driving record.
• Strong understanding of health and safety in the workplace.
• Know-how on driver regulations, working hours, and delivery procedures.

About the Role

Join our Wednesbury team as a Driver/Yard Operative, where you'll be the face of JDP, delivering products to customers and helping keep our busy yard running smoothly. It's a varied, hands-on role that combines driving, customer service, and teamwork.

Profile

What We're Looking For

• Full UK driving licence
• Good understanding of health & safety in the workplace
• Knowledge of driver regulations, driving hours, and delivery procedures
• Ability to plan efficient delivery routes
• A proactive, hardworking attitude with a willingness to learn
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• FLT (Forklift Truck) experience is desirable but not essential
