JDP is seeking a professional 7.5T Driver to join the Cambridge team, delivering plastics pipes and civils products across Cambridge and surrounding areas. The role offers a Monday to Friday schedule with no weekend work, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

As a key face of the business, you will deliver with professionalism, safety, and excellent service, helping ensure products reach customers on time and in good condition.

Qualifications

• Valid Class C1 (7.5T) Licence.
• Driver CPC Qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace.
• Knowledge of drivers' hours regulations and transport legislation.
• Strong route planning and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, professional and safety-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a 7.5T vehicle.
• Deliver products to customers throughout Cambridge and the surrounding area.
• Complete deliveries accurately and on schedule.
• Load, secure and unload products in line with company procedures.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Plan and follow efficient routes to maximise delivery performance.
• Comply with all driver, vehicle and transport legislation.
• Maintain high standards of Health & Safety at all times.
• Provide a friendly, professional service and build strong customer relationships.
• Be a strong team player who is willing to support colleagues and take on additional tasks when required.
